Talk title:
Disruption of memory allocation by stress: a role for parvalbumin interneurons and endocannabinoid signaling

Dr. Lesuis is a researcher at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, where she investigates stress-induced memory generalization in the lab of dr. Sheena Josselyn. Her research focusses on the mechanisms behind how stress, via interneurons, affect engram formation. Before this, she conducted her PhD research at the University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands, where she focused on how early life experiences determine later-life vulnerability or resilience to disease.
