Lausanne is easily accessible: by road (A1/E25 and A9/E27 motorways), by rail (CFF network, EC Direct and TGV from Paris and Milan), by air (60 km from Geneva International Airport, in 45 minutes by car or by train) and even by water.

The EPFL campus is served by metro line M1 (from the Renens and Lausanne-Flon metro stations) and by bus (from Morges).
From Lausanne station
Take the metro m2 towards Croisettes and get off at Lausanne-Flon.
Then take the Metro m1 towards Renens-CFF and get off at EPFL.
Approximate travel time: 30 min. from Lausanne station.
From Renens station
Take the metro m1 direction Lausanne-Flon and get off at EPFL.
Approximate travel time: about 10-15 min.
Take the MBC line 701 towards Lausanne Bourdonnette.
Get off at St-Sulpice Paqueret or St-Sulpice Science Park.
Approximate travel time: about 20 min.
Please use the white car parking spaces as they are accessible to campus visitors.
A parking authorization is required on working days, from 7am to 5pm:
CHF 1.- for the first hour
CHF 2.- for the following hours
Outside these hours, parking on white spaces is free.
